Tax and Duty

This site allows you to purchase VortexBox appliances directly from the UK.  We have paid UK import duty, VAT and other charges on these items. As tax has already been paid EU customers are not normally liable for additional taxes. (Please note that we are not VAT registered so cannot provide a VAT invoice)

Non-EU customers should check their situation.  (We always mark the true value on our Invoice)

Final assembly, customisation and testing of the VortexBox appliance is in the UK. We install the latest stable SW release.  (Subsequent upgrades can normally be via the VortexBox web GUI button if required)

We provide EU 'return-to-base' support for these products.

Alternatively, you may purchase directly from our USA parent site as a Personal Import.

Personal Imports from the USA attract Customs Duty on the full price (including shipping), agent charges, and VAT on this total.  The shipping company may also surcharge for collecting this money from you and may delay the goods until full payment is made.

Warranty and Support

Our warranty is 12 months 'return-to-base' and is for the hardware for products supplied by Vortexbox UK.

In the event of a hardware problem please contact us for a RMA number (Return Authority) and return details.
